The fellowship will begin with six weeks of didactic education. This education is partially in person and partially self-study, using a variety of resources from both our internal UW resources as well as national resources from AAN, CNS, and Coursera. Education will also include ongoing lectures including Grand Grounds, Resident lectures, brain anatomy sessions, and case conferences.
Throughout the year, fellows will continue to participate in weekly grand rounds (Category 1 CME) as well as weekly neurology lectures, and case conferences. Relevant readings will be assigned weekly. The fellow will also meet weekly with the program director to review professionalism and quality improvement/research projects they are participating in.
