Description

Lectures will cover various topics related to neuromuscular medicine and be scheduled with attendings based on their availability. In addition, there will be a basics NCS/EMG “boot camp” with the fellowship director during the first few weeks of fellowship. A book club covering topics from Electromyography and Neuromuscular Disorders: Clinical Electrophysiologic Ultrasound Correlations by Preston and Shapiro. The specific week, chapters and attendings will be pre-schedule with the ability for the fellow to modify as needed. After completion of these chapters, the book club continues using articles agreed upon by the fellow and attending. These will be supplemented with neuromuscular ultrasound specific lectures by the fellowship director.
