Didactics

There are numerous didactic opportunities available. We hold neuropsychology didactics on a weekly basis, alternating between a neuropsychology topic lecture and journal club/case presentation. Each Fellow will present at least twice per year for this series.

We offer a Board Preparation series to address the application process for Clinical Neuropsychology boarding through ABPP. This series heavily emphasizes mock fact finding and Fellows rotate opportunities to practice the fact finding experience. As a part of this series, we will discuss the application process for Boards and all steps of the credentialing process. We will review ethics as it may be covered during the oral defense and address writing and defending work samples.

Outside of Neuropsychology, there are opportunities to participate in Grand Rounds for a number of departments including Neurology, Neurosurgery, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and the developmental research team. Fellows are invited to participate in all didactic opportunities offered to the neurology residents as well as neuropathology (brain cutting) which occurs twice weekly.
