Description
Grand Rounds is our weekly department-wide educational offering. Topics are wide-ranging, from basic science through translational research and clinical trials. Some are devoted to case reports and clinico-pathological conferences; this is how residents usually fulfill the program’s requirement that each deliver at least one grand rounds.
The current grand rounds schedule can be found here.
Goals
- The goal of grand rounds is to advance the participant’s comprehensive knowledge of new research, technology, and guidelines related to clinical neurological care and basic/translational neuroscience that they may implement in their clinical practice.
Expectations
- The fellow will present a grand rounds topic once yearly. If there are multiple fellows, they can consider sharing a grand rounds presentation.
- They will work with an attending to select a topic and have the attending review their slides for appropriateness prior to the presentation.
- The fellow is encouraged to attend all grand rounds presentations.
