Nobody had a better reason to observe World Stroke Day this week than Law School accountant Jennifer Gardner. About a month ago, she suffered a major stroke while walking up Bascom Hill. Now, she’s back at work, having made it to UW Hospital during what is called “the golden hour” for stroke victims. Hers is a story of good fortune, and of nearly everyone doing the right thing.
