Medical Interests

Dr. Bhatia provides neuro-oncological care with special interest in the treatment of the following conditioms: gliomas such as glioblastoma, astrocytoma, oligodendroglioma, ependymoma; spinal cord tumors; other primary brain tumors such as central system lymphoma and meningiomas; brain metastasis (including leptomeningeal disease); neurological complications of cancer such as chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and paraneoplastic disorders; histiocytic disorders such as Erdheim-Chester disease; neurofibromatosis; and pituitary tumors.

Research Interests

Dr. Bhatia is actively engaged in clinical and translational neuro-oncological research with the ultimate goal of discovering novel treatments for patients with incurable brain tumors. He is also interested in the intersection of neuroimaging, cognition, and patient quality of life and using multi-dimensional data to improve patient outcomes.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Bhatia is dedicated to education of fellows, residents, and medical students in all aspects of neuro-oncology.
