Research Interests
The long-term goal of our research is to understand the neurodegenerative process in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) with the objective of broaden the current efforts to treat this devastating disease. We seek to develop new therapeutic strategies using mechanistic insights drawn from understanding astrocyte-motor neuron interaction in models of ALS.
