Our current research is focused in two areas:
- The effects of childhood onset epilepsies on brain structure, cognition and psychiatric status (3 NIH RO1 44351). This involves baseline cross-sectional and longitudinal (2, 5, 10 year) follow-up of the cohort. This research is carried out with our collaborators in medical physics, radiology, psychiatry, neurology and neuropsychology here at UW along with collaborators at other institutions.
- The effects of chronic epilepsy on brain and cognitive aging.
