Description
Neuromuscular conference is a twice-monthly venue for learning about EMG, nerve conduction studies, muscle pathology, and clinical neuromuscular disease. There is an EMG boot camp each fall that provides junior residents with some initial hands-on experience with the equipment. Throughout the year, conferences alternate between neurophysiology and clinical neuromuscular topics.
Goals
- To provide an introduction to EMG, NCS, and muscle pathology
- To cover a wide variety of disorders of the peripheral nervous system
