Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Troy Lawrence started his career as a registered nurse in home health with the UW Health Home Health agency. During his time at UW Health, he served in various roles at the home health agency including as a case manager, chaired the Nursing Research Council, and served on UW Health’s 50 Star Council.

After two years as a registered nurse, Troy began studying to be an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. He completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2017 and was honored to receive two awards for academic and clinic excellence, the Mary L. Keller Research Award and DNP Excellence Award.

He brings his passion and experience from home care along with his training in primary care to the Neurological specialty. Troy’s background has fostered a personal philosophy for holistic, patient and family-centered healthcare delivery. His primary goal is to help each of his patients become the healthiest version of themselves.
