Research Interests
My research interests lie in the area of synaptic function as related to the over-expression of amyloid beta protein precursor (APP) and amyloid beta (Aβ) in Alzheimer’s disease, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome (FXS) and autism. We study both pharmaceutical and dietary interventions with the potential to modulate APP production and processing.
