The APP fellow will have support through Professional Development to enhance their transition and well-being. The APP Fellow is given full benefits, including professional fees, continuing education dollars and time, and medical/dental insurance. In addition, they will also have access to the expanding resources offered through Provider Services to all providers at UW Health. This includes peer support, an Employee Assistance Program, direct access to Behavioral Health support, and Wellness options. Current offerings in Wellbeing in my Workday include support for emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing.
By completing this fellowship, the APP will have developed additional critical thinking and diagnostic skills allowing them to excel in managing complex neurologic patients with an interdisciplinary team. They will have the opportunity to build their procedural and leadership skills while learning from a nationally recognized team of health care professionals.
